In episode 14 of Honoring Hidden Heroes, we had the chance to talk with George Fuller, the founder and president of Ruck ‘N’ Run. This non-profit organization has operated out of Missouri since 2015 and brings veterans, active duty service members, and the community together on Veteran’s Day weekend.
Ruck ‘N’ Run holds an annual event on Veteran’s Day weekend where veterans, service members, and civilians can get together to ruck or run, creating common ground between these communities and giving opportunities to thank our veterans. You can also participate in monthly challenges, which honor specific groups in the military community or bring attention to unique issues.
Over the years, Fuller has seen this event and his organization touch many people’s lives, and he recounts some of these stories in our latest episode. Tune into this month’s episode to hear more about this great organization, or visit their website to learn more about their mission, get involved with their monthly missions, or volunteer for the annual event if you live nearby.
