In full disclosure, I have not yet used this bag. But I have used many bags in the past, and sometimes you know quality when you see it. This bag far exceeds the quality of any other bag I've had. You can read the reviews and watch the YouTube videos to get an idea of the specific attributes that make this bag unique, so I won't go into them here. Just buy the bag and see for yourself. Once I opened the package and felt the craftsmanship, I knew I would be buying more bags like it in the future. Long gone are my civilian bag days; what a waste that was.

This is the second colossus duffle bag that I have bought over the years and I simply think they are great. I take it with me wherever I go. all of my TA-50 and miscellaneous gear fits perfectly. Not the first time I have ordered from MLC and certainly not the last!
I ordered the bag and it was in my hands two days later. I'm a tactical medic in a county EMS service as well as a National Guard officer. The bag far exceeds my expectations...all of my duty gear (over the shirt body armor, extrication gear, full size Mag-lite, haz-mat suit, traffic vest, uniform coat, stethoscope and assorted "stuff") all fit with room for more. I've been using a Condor 3-day assault bag (which deployed with me to Egypt) for my tactical go-bag and keeping my kit in a shared Crown Vic. I'll be ordering another Colossus Bag for my tactical kit. Condor provides outstanding gear for a dirt cheap price.
I got the black colossus bag, and this bag is exceptionally well made, obviously from high quality materials and prime workmanship. This bag is very large, it's great for travel, especially for TDY's or for packing essentials for PCSing. I'm PCSing soon and with a family of 4 this bag is going to be very useful. I got the black colossus bag and I love it. The size and variety of pockets is awesome. The zippers and handles are very heavy duty. I like that there is backpack straps that can be tucked away if u just wanna carry it on your shoulder or something. There is plenty or room for several days worth of clothes. And there is a separate compartment for bootsnor shoes or other stuff you want to have separate from your clothes. I highly recommend this bag fornthe size and price and features you cant go wrong.
First off I ordered this Sunday night and it arrived at my house Tuesday morning, awesome! On the receipt there was also a hand written note thanking me for my purchase and help on this product! The bag is amazing. Very spacious main area for adequate packing and the side compartment can easily fit a pair of boots, shoes etc., which is helpful. I really like how if you don't want to wear it as a backpack you can unlatch the straps and put them into the overhead area which is amazing!!!! The stitching seems impeccable and quality 100%. Plenty of zipper/side pockets for all your loose ends and odds and ins. Great price for this bag. The bottom is very sturdy and durable unlike other brand bags where the bottom caves in and is too loose. Giving this an excellent rating but I would like to see the bottom material also in the Coyote Tan color instead of black. Don't know if this is possible, but would love to have all tan. Thanks!!
