I have had this duffle for several years. I have used it for travel as a checked bag. It has made many trips to ohio and Colorado and is still going strong. Even with being tossed around the airport and in the backs of cars and trucks. This bag is massive. This bag is exactly as presented on the web-site. I paid UPS ground but they upgraded me to 2nd day air. The bag is high quality. I am using it to carry larger, bulky, and long items back and forth to the range. It handles the weight just fine.
I just wanted to say that I love the bag. Order the bag and received it withing four days. I used it over drill weekend. Great bag,well made. The only thing missing is a shoulder strap. I will be using also for my tactical equipment.

I wanted to let you know that the Convertible Duffle/backpack arrived this morning. I love it! It is exactly the type of bag I like to travel with. It is roomy, light weight and has the back pack straps. I travel with my family fairly often. I find that I need extra hands trying to lug my family's luggage, car seats, etc - the backpack straps are the BOMB! I also like that the carrying handles have Velcro to keep them together and that there are two extra carry handles on the ends of the bag - for a quick grab and drag at the airport ticket counter! This bag is a great value for the frequent traveler.
