Sheriff Wright grew up in the local community and served 10 years in the military before kickstarting his law enforcement. After years of dedicated service, he replaced Sheriff Butler to become Sheriff in 2017 and has been reelected since.

During his time as Sheriff, Wright has been focused on representing the local community and building trust with law enforcement. Sheriff Wright also looks forward to encouraging recruitment throughout the community and has worked closely with the local youth to garner interest in law enforcement.
