On our sixth installment of Honoring Hidden Heroes, we had the pleasure of speaking with Jill Green, the executive director of the Tommy Franks Museum. The Tommy Franks Leadership Institute and Museum has two missions: honoring the military career of General Tommy Franks and focusing on the next generation of leaders. The Tommy Franks Museum also features the largest 9/11 exhibit west of the Mississippi.

Tommy Franks was a four-star general and the CENTCOM commander during 9/11 and the War on Terror. After his retirement in 2003 and moving to Oklahoma, he wanted to offer leadership programs to the youth.

The Tommy Franks Leadership Institute helps develop the skills of young leaders all over the world through a summer program. The goal is to create effective leaders for the future of our country, instilling them with the same leadership skills General Franks honed throughout his career.
