In the 17th installment of Honoring Hidden Heroes, we sat down with Paul Chapa to discuss his organization, Founder of Friends in Service of Heroes, or F.I.S.H. After seeing how little our service members are recognized for their service, Paul decided to use his industry knowledge and desire to make a difference to create F.I.S.H.
Now, F.I.S.H aims to bring awareness to the sacrifices made by our service members while also providing support to active duty military, veterans, and their families. So far, F.I.S.H. has provided service dogs, mobility scooters, financial support, and holiday support to numerous military families in the Greater Kansas City Area and plans to continue their inspiring work for years to come.
If you’re interested in getting involved with F.I.S.H., you can attend some of their local and online events, volunteer your time, or donate to the cause. Tune into our latest episode to hear about how F.I.S.H. came to be and about the great work they do for our military and their families.
