Only 1 thing to possibly not like

Posted by Logan Tyler on Feb 25th 2017

Had this bag for several years as well as a few other S.O.C bags. And I can say the same about this that I will about all of them, durable, light weight, well designed. The only drawback on this bag is the zipper pull loves to eat the little flap that sits over the zipper itself to stay dry. So as long as you pay attention when you open and close the bad it's an amazing product.

Best and most used bag in my arsenal

Posted by Ashley Marble on Feb 23rd 2017

This bugout bag has gone everywhere with me since I got it. It is durable, it has a lot of storage, I can fit my body armor and helmet in it when needed. This backpack is gone everywhere from Fort Irwin, California to Poland. There are so many pockets, it's easy to lose stuff if you're not organized an organized person (speaking from experience). My favorite feature is that it is expandable to make more room in the main compartment or collapsible to make it smaller. I also love the fact that you can talk in the waist belt and the straps as needed. If you like to travel or are in need of A backpack that isn't overly bulky, this is the perfect backpack for you.

    Good bag for the price

Posted by Eric Tolon on Feb 22nd 2017

I can't actually say that I bought this bag, it was a gift from a family member. I have used it recently for an overnight hunt. There was more than enough space for all of my food and overnight items, in addition, there was plenty of room for me to stash my rain gear and coat when it started to get too warm for that. Everything stayed pretty dry in a downpour and even when I set the bag in standing water the stuff on the bottom stayed dry. This bag will serve as a bugout bag for the future, it just seems too big for hunting.. even for an overnight trip.

    Decent bag for the price

So I never had an issues with the construction. The materials seem good and its held together nicely. There's plenty of storage for many different items in it. Plenty of small pockets and zippers. To me the issue comes at the size. Granted the bag doesn't really suit my needs. But whenever I would fill the main compartment. It pushes out on the bag. Making it hard to access and fill any others parts in the bag. Overall it's good but it doesn't take a load well for the size.

    Only one you need

Posted by David Slack on Dec 16th 2014

I was a little skeptical about this backpack. I don't like to order my bags online cause I make quality checks and look at the sewing of the seams and all. This backpack was well built and has lasted me for the past 6 months with no problems. There is plenty of space no matter what you do with it. I have it as a universal backpack between classes, range bag, over night bag, etc. It has performed excellent. I never used the hip buckle but that is a great feature if you take this for a hike or carry a heavy load. Great backpack. I now own this black one and an ABU one to serve different purposes. S.O.C. makes a great bag. I think it might rival 5.11 tactical, but I have no experience with that brand. Hope this helps everyone.

Review: Black S.O.C. 3 Day Pass backpack

Posted by Richard Reuscher on Feb 27th 2014

I purchased my Black S.O.C. 3 Day Pass backpack directly from the MLC website. I received it promptly. It has been a real value for the price. It's roomy, has pockets for virtually everything I think I need. It's well constructed, and looks sharp. Ergonomically - it is the bomb - no sore shoulders or lower back issues - even after a full days use. The materials used are top-notch. I have used it several times now. I have to admit that I am not easy on my equipment - but it has held up perfectly. It's a little dirty now, but no rips, no tears, no loose sewing, no broken straps, no fouled/faulty zippers, etc. I'm not sure I can tear this pack up - but if I do - I'd buy another, without a doubt. This is a first rate product = 5 STAR. Thanks to MLC, for the valued product, at the right price!!

    Long lasting!

Posted by Clint Harris on Feb 27th 2014

I purchased my Black S.O.C. 3 Day Pass bag from the Pope AFB/Ft. Bragg BX back in 2002. This bag has been with me on more than few PCS's and still works well. The only problems I've had with the bag are that the side straps have gotten caught on things while traveling and have torn off (thank you airport luggage handlers!). The bag is still extremely useable expect more years to come from it!

    Great Bag

Posted by Ethan Jacquin on Feb 27th 2014

I'm very happy that I purchased the Black S.O.C. 3 Day Pass. It's very durable and holds all of the things I need on a daily basis. It expands to hold more. I'm an ROTC student and this is everything I need. The only thing I'd like is a pouch on the side for a drink, but I can live without it for this great bag.

Surprised it has lasted this long

I bought this as I was leaving basic for tech school 4 years ago. And I have used it every day since. the functionality and size works great for carrying my books for either school or promotion. I love this product and honestly probably couldn't make it without it
