Got this bag for my son who is in the military. Wanted something sturdy and useful as he will be traveling to different bases and will be living like a nomad out of bags. This served the purpose. Said the bag was similar to one they used in boot camp for hiking. So I won with this one!
Had my bag for about a month now and used it to carry over 60 pounds of gear about 15 miles and not only does it carry the wait but is still comfortable. I have been an owner of a Navy issued SOC backpack 4 the last for years and it has been the best one ever. It has been used everyday for anything from going to work to groceries and it has never failed me in any way. Plus it even has all of its codor but I wanted to get something smaller;so I ordered the #5031 3-day pass and just it today. I couldn't be any more satisfied. The backpack is very sturdy with thick zippers,tough fabric with plenty of options to pack however you like. Huge thanks to the gentleman who helped me with my original return and keeping me updated!
