This chowpack is light weight and the insulating liner material is thiner that I expected. So I was first skeptical that it would keep foods and liquids cold for long periods. For drill day, I added an ice pack and three 8 Oz. bottles of water. The chowpack kept the water very cold all day! So I'm a satified customer.
