    Great Bag!!!

Posted by Warren on Jul 24th 2013

This bag is legit, I use it for all my travels! It's able to pack up about three weeks worth of socks, undies, shorts, pants and shirts, plus a pair of running shoes. I have been able to get a few ACU's and my IBA and FLC in there as well. It's super versatile for either wear as a backpack or a single over the shoulder strap. It's expandable, and with the plain black pattern, it doesn't scream "hey I'm in the army," when I am traveling home on leave.

    Bugout Bag 2002

Used this bag extensively before during & after deployment to Afghanistan in 2002.I still use it often to this day.Has held up well with a couple of the compression straps giving out and some minor wear & tear.Very good deal.Would recommend it.Far more useful than the standard issue "rucks" from the Army.

Had a version of this bag in Iraq

I got this bag in cyote brown at the little px we had on FOB Echo. This bag works great and expands to add even more clothing. I have taken this bag on camping trips and on vacation with my wife and stuffed enough clothing in this bag for about 4 days, and I tend to over pack. This bag was finally given away to a soldier graduating Tanker OSUT who needed a bag to get home in. (I was his Drill Sergeant) and paying if forward that I do gave this bag to him. Worked perfect to get all his extra clothing home.

I carried this bag as my bugout bag for an entire deployment! It carried as much as I needed it to and more! Once I got home it worked awesome as a gym/work/school bag all at once! Now that my son is off to school, it's been passed down a generation!

These bags are so versatile. I won't ever use anything else. I can fully extend it to fit what I need and then turn around and cinch it down to a compact size.

    This bag is great!

Posted by Army Mom on May 30th 2013

Packed full set of ACUs,tee shirt, socks, boots, computer, all the files that go off with orders!,the Army Black Trench coat, toiletry bag, musical instrument mouthpieces and reed cases and bag with extra nametags, ribons etc. and it still had not been unzipped to expand. We figured it weighed 1/2 of the duffle bag which was crammed as full as it could be! Thank God for 2 1/2 gallon baggies to compress and zip closed! Ah yes had 2 guys in extreme laughter as Mom compressed that trench coat by sitting on it so it went into the backpack with no problem!

Hoping to Win this Black Bugout Bag

Posted by Cathy Smith on Apr 20th 2013

I'm reviewing based on the photo and statistics on this bag from this site. Am retired USAF/Active Louisiana Army National Guard/Federal Technician with Louisiana Army National Guard and Louisiana Air National Guard. Looks extremely sturdy and balanced to carry. Compact, but has ability to expand with different levels and compartments to accommodate a variety of items (clothing, bedding, food, etc.). I love the different methods of securing the bag (zippers, pull strings, pop in locks, etc.). No need to worry about it popping loose while on the run if ever needed. I've had to hastle with different carry-on bags and/or luggage when trying to run through an airport, only to find myself struggling more with my bag. I think this bag and myself would have a very lasting relationship !!!!
