Took this bag with me for field training. It rolled over dirt, through mud and through grass. I was able to pack a great deal of stuff into the bags (used 2) and the compartments were useful for storing little things that I wanted to get to quickly. The bags did get soaked once and the items in the side pocket got wet, but nothing got wet in the large compartment. Bag got the job done and hopeful that they last a few more years.
This bad has so much room and is easy to move around. It definitely made packing and traveling with 2 months worth of clothing a much easier ordeal.
It is incredibly lightweight and handles well. It holds an amazing amount of stuff.
The bag is definitely bigger than I was expecting. It holds a lot more than the 50lbs that most commercial airlines allow in a checked bag. So far it is holding up very well to the beatings a bag can take from the airlines. The only things I would suggest would be a better strap to hold the pull handle in the collapsed position and some internal tie downs to prevent things from sliding around when you are not carrying enough to pack the bag full.
